Design a primary package and closure system with zero MOSH/MOAH/BPA contact risk and clear tamper evidence – robust enough for internal quality protocols across multiple European sites. EMBACO’s role was to combine compliance with practical usability.

A PET jar paired with a PP lid featuring a purpose-selected liner that ensures the contact surface is 100% MOSH/MOAH-free – plus a custom tamper-evident tape that leaves a checkerboard footprint, making the pack truly pilfer-proof. This was designed, tested, and implemented by EMBACO to meet Cargill’s strict requirements.
From Requirement to Reality
Why PET + Liner
PET is inherently strong on mineral-oil migration performance. EMBACO specified a lid with an inner liner engineered so the contact layer meets Cargill’s MOSH/MOAH zero-tolerance brief. In practice, that means the product only ever touches the approved contact surface – not the cap body – keeping the interface clean and compliant.
Tamper Evidence That Speaks for Itself
We developed a customised tamper-evident tape that fractures on first opening and prints a checkerboard mark onto the packaging. It is a bold, unmistakable “opened” signal for operators and auditors alike – simple to apply, impossible to ignore.
